The last three days, Austrian Leading Sights was represented by 12 members at the ITB Berlin. The association’s first appearance at a trade fair was a complete success.

After a break of several years due to the pandemic, the ITB travel and tourism trade fair was able to take place again in Berlin this year. The great international interest was already noticeable on the first day of the fair. In addition to numerous international buyers and tour operators, Secretary of State for Tourism Mag. Susanne Kraus-Winkler and Ambassador Dr. Michael Linhart also visited the booth of the leading sights. The evening of the second day concluded with the Austrian Leading Sights Get together. Around 150 representatives from tourism used the international exchange with Austrian music, the Wiener Hofburg sparkling wine from Henkell and Austrian wine from the Esterhazy vineyards and Melk Abbey.

Also, on the last day of the fair, the leading Austrian sights were able to inspire with their uniqueness and authenticity on the international stage. “It was great to see how many international visitors from the industry were interested in our sights, services and offers,” said Klaus Panholzer, president of the association, summing up the trade fair appearance. “We look forward to further expanding these connections and to even more visitors to offer an unforgettable experience in Austria”.
