Austrian Leading Sights is delighted to welcome the Viennese Museum of Natural History as the 50th member of the network of leading Austrian sights. With its impressive collections, the NHM Vienna is a valuable addition to our association and underlines the importance of cultural institutions in Austrian tourism.

“We are delighted to become the 50th member of Austrian Leading Sights. The NHM Vienna is a research museum with over 270 years of history, which emerged from the imperial collections of the 18th century. Dedicated to ‘the realm of nature and its exploration’, our building, exhibitions and collections form a total work of art in the heart of Vienna with a unique atmosphere.
The new membership offers us the opportunity to further strengthen our efforts in the field of sustainable tourism and to network with other leading institutions,” says NHM Director General Dr. Katrin Voland. “Together we can present and preserve Austria’s cultural diversity even better.”

“On the 5th anniversary of the association, we are proud to celebrate this milestone and look back on five years of successful cooperation and continuous development,” comments Patrick Quatember, Managing Director of Austrian Leading Sights. The association stands for the promotion of sustainable and regional value creation through the networking and support of the country’s most important sights. “We are proud to have this renowned institution as a member of our network and look forward to future joint projects and collaborations.”
