Together with the Austrian National Tourist Office, Austrian Leading Sights is delighted to present Austria’s leading sights at the International Tourism Exchange (ITB) 2024.

The International Tourism Exchange ITB, one of the world’s largest tourism trade fairs, will take place in Berlin from March 5 to 7. Austrian Leading Sights, representing Austria’s leading sights, will be present at the trade fair for the second time. The success of the association’s first trade fair appearance is clearly reflected in the large number of exhibitors for ITB 2024: 24 sights will represent Austria at the international tourism trade fair – double the number compared to 2023. “It fills us with pride that we will have such a strong presence at ITB for our second trade fair appearance!”, comments Patrick Quatember, Managing Director of the association, on the numerous registrations. “Our members and partners represent Austria’s cultural heritage, natural wonders and innovative cultural offerings. We are thrilled to be able to share these treasures with an international audience.”

“Austria’s cultural sites are a magnet for visitors from all over the world: our internationally renowned top sights are showcases for cultural diversity and illustrate Austria’s uniqueness. Cultural offerings are also becoming increasingly important for booking decisions. This makes the strong presence of the Austrian Leading Sights at the Austria stand all the more important,” says State Secretary for Tourism Susanne Kraus-Winkler.

The association is particularly pleased about the cooperation with Österreich Werbung, the national tourism organization. In 2024, Austrian Leading Sights will be represented in an area within the 750 square meter Österreich Werbung stand. The Managing Director of Österreich Werbung, Astrid Steharnig Staudinger, is positive about the cooperation: “We are delighted about the cooperation with Austrian Leading Sights and their great commitment to promoting Austrian tourism. The diversity of our sights makes Austria a unique destination and we are proud to present this at ITB 2024.”

Trade visitors to ITB 2024 can look forward to a fascinating insight into Austria’s diversity – from historical sites to breathtaking natural landscapes, modern cultural experiences and the fascinating variety of Austrian attractions.
