MAK - Museum of Applied Arts

Stubenring 5, 1010 Wien

The MAK, founded in 1863 under Emperor Franz Joseph I is one of the most grandiose buildings on Vienna’s Ringstraße. With its collection of over 900.000 objects and printed works from five centuries, the MAK ranks among the most important museums of its kind worldwide. Masterpieces by Gustav Klimt and Koloman Moser are just as much part of the Permanent Collection Vienna 1900 as trendsetting furniture design by Otto Wagner, Adolf Loos and Josef Hoffmann.
