The ASTA River Cruise Expo 2025 in Vienna was a complete success for Austrian Leading Sights!

With 24 partners, the network of Austrian Leading Sights showcased itself to an international audience. Over 1,500 American travel advisors attended the fair on March 14, learning about the diversity and uniqueness of Austria’s cultural and tourism offerings.

The U.S. market has been one of the most important and fastest-growing markets for Austrian tourism for years. American visitors especially appreciate Austria’s cultural heritage, historical architecture, and top-tier music and art offerings. To highlight and present these aspects, all 1,500 participants at the ASTA River Cruise Expo 2025 received a specially crafted Vienna Pass, granting exclusive access to the sights of Austrian Leading Sights members showcased at the event. This allowed the travel advisors to experience Austria up close and personally explore its attractions.

A special highlight was the appearance of Patrick Quatember, Managing Director of Austrian Leading Sights, at the ASTA Opening Session on March 12. Speaking in front of 1,500 industry experts, he addressed the significance of Austria’s cultural heritage in international tourism. Another key moment was the exclusive ASTA VIP event on March 12 at the Schönbrunn Orangery, hosted by Schönbrunn Palace, Zoo Vienna, Vienna Sightseeing, and the Schönbrunn Palace Concerts. 450 invited guests enjoyed an evening filled with live music and culinary delights.

With its strong presence, Austrian Leading Sights emphasized Austria’s relevance as a leading destination for the U.S. market. The event not only provided a valuable platform for exchange with international travel professionals but also set an important momentum for future collaborations and the long-term strengthening of market presence in the United States.
