The Spanish Riding School

The Spanish Riding School is a significant part of European and Austrian cultural heritage. Founded 455 years ago by the European imperial Habsburg dynasty, it is not only the world’s oldest riding academy, it is also the only place where up to this day the High School of Classical Horsemanship has been cherished and maintained in its purest form.

The “White Ballet” of the Lipizzaner is a symbol for harmony, perfection and part of Austria’s identity which can only be seen in in Vienna.
